NTSB MEETING: INTERNATIONAL AVIATION SAFETY PROGRAM
The National Transportation Safety Board will review the NTSB's International Aviation Safety Program at a public meeting Tuesday, February 8, at 9:30 a.m., in the Board Room of NTSB headquarters, 490 L'Enfant Plaza, SW, (5th floor), Washington, DC, 20594.
Board members and NTSB staff will discuss the Safety Board's efforts to improve the safety of international air travel in the following areas:
Aircraft accident investigations involving international events with a U.S. registered aircraft, U.S. operator or U.S. manufactured product;
Research and engineering assistance - cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder readouts, materials laboratories reports and performance studies;
Safety training, advocacy and outreach.
