CORRECTION TO AUGUST 28, 2007, NTSB PRESS RELEASE (SB-07-40)

Washington, DC -- There was a typographical error in the first sentence of the second paragraph of the August 28, 2007, press release titled, "NTSB Chairman Emphasizes Importance of International Cooperation in Air Safety" (SB-07-40).

The press release stated that "Chairman Rosenker noted that many of the safety improvements that ISASI and other groups have promoted "are not providing the benefits we predicted." The word "not" should be "now." The corrected portion of the sentence should read, "are now providing the benefits we predicted."
