NTSB MEDIA BRIEFING TODAY ON JETSTREAM CRASH IN MISSOURI


The National Transportation Safety Board will hold a media briefing today at 5:00 p.m., CDT, to provide an update on the investigation into the crash of a British Aerospace Jetstream 32 airliner, October 19, on approach to Kirksville Regional Airport, Kirksville, Missouri.

NTSB Member Carol Carmody will conduct the briefing. The briefing will be held at the airport terminal in Kirksville.

CVR. The Cockpit Voice Recorder from American Connection flight 5966, which crashed October 19, 2004, in Kirksville, Missouri. The casing was cut open by NTSB laboratory personnel to access the tape recording.
