PRESS AVAILABILITY AT NEW NTSB ACADEMY SCHEDULED FOR MAY 4

In response to media requests, NTSB Chairman Ellen Engleman-Conners has scheduled an opportunity for the news media to tour the new NTSB Academy on Tuesday, May 4, 2004, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Journalists will be able to tour the state-of-the-art training facility, including the laboratory that houses the reconstruction of a 93-foot section of the TWA flight 800 fuselage, which is to be used as a teaching tool for air crash investigators.

Chairman Engleman-Conners will be available for interviews.

The NTSB Academy is located on the Virginia campus of George Washington University at 45065 Riverside Parkway, Ashburn, Virginia 20417.
