NTSB OPENS PUBLIC DOCKET ON U.S.S. GREENEVILLE AND EHIME MARU ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION
Transcripts of Civilian Interviews Aboard U.S.S. Greeneville

As part of its ongoing investigation into the nuclear submarine U.S.S. Greeneville and the Japanese fishing vessel Ehime Maru collision on February 9, 2001, the National Transportation Safety Board has opened a public docket and made available factual information concerning the investigation.

The information released is factual in nature and does not provide any analysis. Additional information will be added to the public docket as it becomes available.

Available in the docket at this time are the transcripts of the interviews of 14 of the 16 civilians who were aboard the Greeneville at the time of the collision. While the other two civilians were also interviewed, transcripts of those interviews are not available due to transcription problems.
