MEDIA POOL FOR SITE VISIT TO HANGAR HOUSING WRECKAGE FROM ALASKA AIRLINES FLIGHT 261



The National Transportation Safety Board will open the hangar in Port Hueneme, California - where the wreckage of Alaska Airlines flight 261 is being stored - for a news media pool on Wednesday, January 31, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. (pst).

Pool video footage will be provided by CNN. Video footage will be distributed by satellite.

Still photography will be available through the Associated Press and Reuters.

The Associated Press will provide the print pool.

KVTA in Ventura County, California, will provide the radio pool.
