NTSB LAUNCHES GO TEAM TO INVESTIGATE CRASH OF SEAPLANE IN MIAMI


The National Transportation Safety Board is sending a team of investigators to Miami, Florida to begin investigating today's crash of a Chalk's Airlines passenger seaplane. The United States Coast Guard has confirmed at least 12 fatalities.

Senior air safety investigator William English will lead the 14-member team as Investigator-in-Charge. NTSB Acting Chairman Mark V. Rosenker will accompany the team and serve as principal spokesperson. The Board's press officer is Paul Schlamm.
