NTSB WEBSITE OFFERS FRENCH LANGUAGE INFORMATION ON BOARD PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Washington, D.C. - In an effort to better serve the public, the National Transportation Safety Board's website now provides French language information about the Safety Board, as well as information about the Board's products and services.

The multi-lingual information is part of the Safety Board's response to the President's Management Agenda for electronic government -- e-government. The e-government initiative is designed to make better use of information technology (IT) investments in order to improve government services to citizens. French language information currently available on the website includes the history and mission of the Safety Board, details about the Board's investigative process, information on the Federal Family Assistance Plan for Aviation Disasters, detailed descriptions of the Board's products and services, and contact information for NTSB Headquarters and regional offices.

The French language information can be accessed through a link on the NTSB's homepage, . Information on the Board's products and services is also available in Spanish.
