Dear Sir/Madam,
I am co-owner of a heath food store in Pearland TX. I have been in the field for about 8 years. I used to hate natural substances until I got very very sick for many years and nothing was helping me. God led me to natural supplements and now I want other people to have that opportunity. My cusomers and I appreciate the significance of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 with regard to protecting our right to choose how we care for ourselves.
I am concerned that FDA has only just begun to implement key sections of DSHEA. Such as the agency just recently released its proposed good manufacturing standards for the industry, and yet immediately calling for suggestions for increased legislative authority in order to better regulate the supplement industry. I think it would be better to give DSHEA
