CDBG Financial Management Training, May 13 - 15 in Bethesda, MD

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is offering a new, case-based, interactive training course on Financial Management to strengthen the implementation of CDBG programs for entitlement communities. The course will cover the essentials of financial management from planning/budgeting, cost allowance, to financial accounting, reporting and compliance issues.

This training and technical assistance will take place May 13-15, 2008 in Bethesda, MD. It will be repeated on June 3-5 in Los Angeles, CA and on June 24-26 in Chicago, IL.

The first training is filling up quickly, so sign up soon or hold the dates for the trainings in June. There is a hot link in the attached flyer that will allow you to register immediately. We encourage you to take advantage of this easy registration and the delivery of training material, which is free of charge to each registered participant.

The training and technical assistance events will be led by experts from Training & Development Associates under a competitively awarded cooperative agreement with HUD.
