Purpose: To review the conditions and causes of truck and bus related crashes and evaluate the effectiveness of Federal, State and industry oversight of truck and bus safety.

Panel 1 Truck and Bus Safety Issues:
This discussion will examine truck and bus safety concerns of
the general public and industry. Expected topics include fatigue, aggressive
driving, traffic congestion, vehicle maintenance and inspection. The panel
will also discuss crash data and research.
