Before his election to Congress, Wilson served ten years in the Ohio House and Senate. His devotion to public service was evident through his work as a state lawmaker in Columbus, where he fought for Ohio workers and pushed to increase funding for public schools.

Congressman Wilson brings to Washington a much-needed common sense approach to problem solving that he developed through decades of experience as a successful small business owner in Eastern Ohio. Wilson, who makes his home in St. Clairsville, has four sons and nine grandchildren.
