Request For Proposals Guidence Documents
The SAFECOM Guidelines for Developing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) report equips the public safety community with a reference for developing RFPs for solutions, equipment, or services tailored to meet public safety practitioner needs. These guidelines provide an approach for conducting research, gathering requirements, and collaborating across agencies when developing RFPs to bring forth solutions that meet public safety practitioner needs. This document incorporates input from the public safety community and SAFECOM research to provide information and critical actions that support achieving successful procurement efforts for improving communications and interoperability.
