The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers wants you to have a pleasant recreational experience. Many people drown on the nation's waterways each year and, in most cases, victims were not wearing a life jacket, the one tool that could have helped them survive when they entered the water. Please ensure that your loved ones are wearing the right size life jacket when they are boating or playing on or near the water. The Chief of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers needs your help as we try to reduce the number of public fatalities on our nation's waterways. Only YOU can help us do that! |
BALD RIDGE CREEK (GA), LAKE SIDNEY LANIER, GADescription:Bald Ridge Creek Campground is located on Lake Sidney Lanier. Lake Lanier touches five counties in Georgia and is just 45 minutes from Atlanta. The lake covers 38,000 acres that were once rolling farmland. The lake provides outdoor recreational opportunities to fish, camp, boat, picnic or sightsee. Bald Ridge Creek Campground offers 82 sites with electric and water hookups. Additional amenities include a dump station, laundry facilities, restrooms with hot showers, a boat ramp, and a swimming beach. Alerts and Important Information Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance.
