U.S.-Thailand Free Trade Agreement Negotiations

Negotiations for a bilateral free trade agreement between the United States and Thailand are currently on hold. This agreement is to build upon the United States-Thailand Treaty of Amity and Economic Relations. In 2004, bilateral trade in goods between the United States and Thailand was $23.9 billion, with U.S. exports accounting for $6.4 billion of that amount.
