Short Course Introduction
The Optical Technology Division offers short courses in photometry and radiation thermometry, and spectroradiometry on an annual basis. Attendees include NIST staff, as well as representatives from other national metrology institutes, national laboratories, and industry. The courses will consist of lectures and skill-building, problem-solving laboratory experiments. A generic overview of the courses include the following: Practical laboratory experiences; Proper uncertainty analysis; and, Treatment of the measurement equation.
