COMMERCE SECRETARY GUTIERREZ TO ATTEND
SECURITY AND PROSPERITY MINISTERIAL MEETING FEBRUARY 23

Washington, D.C. -- Commerce Secretary Carlos M. Gutierrez, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff will join their Canadian and Mexican counterparts in Ottawa, Canada, February 23, 2007 for a meeting on the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America.

The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America was launched on March 23, 2005 by the leaders of North America to reduce trade barriers and facilitate economic growth, while improving the security and competitiveness of the continent.
