NTSB TO HOLD PRESS BRIEFING ON AMTRAK DERAILMENT IN MARYLAND
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The National Transportation Safety Board will conduct a
press briefing today at 4:00 p.m. (EDT) regarding the derailment of an Amtrak
passenger train in Montgomery County, Maryland.
NTSB Vice Chairman Carol Carmody will provide an update on the investigation into the accident.
The press briefing will be held where the media currently is set up at the accident site, near the intersection of Summit Avenue and Plyers Mill Road.
