NTSB TO HOLD PRESS BRIEFING ON CRASH OF FEDERAL EXPRESS FLIGHT 1478 IN TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA


Washington, D.C. - The National Transportation Safety Board will conduct a press briefing today at 7:30 p.m. (EDT), regarding the Federal Express cargo plane that crashed this morning in Tallahassee, Florida. Richard Rodriguez, Investigator-in-charge, will provide an update on the investigation. The press briefing will be held at Tallahassee Regional Airport in the Airport Gallery on the main concourse level.

At approximately 5:45 a.m. today, a FedEx Boeing 727 (N497FE) crashed on approach to the Tallahassee, Florida airport. The three crewmembers aboard survived the crash but were injured.
