NTSB SENDS INVESTIGATORS TO TUNISIA TO ASSIST IN EGYPTAIR INVESTIGATION


The National Transportation Safety Board is dispatching a team of investigators to assist the Government of Tunisia in its investigation of the crash today of an EgyptAir Boeing 737-500 (SU-GBI).

Safety Board investigator Joseph Sedor will lead the team as the U.S. Accredited Representative. He will be accompanied by three NTSB investigators and representatives from the Federal Aviation Administration, Boeing Commercial Aircraft and General Electric Engines.

Information on the progress of the investigation will be released by the Government of Tunisia.
