NTSB TO HOLD MEDIA BRIEFING ON TRAIN COLLISION IN PLACENTIA, CALIFORNIA

Washington, D.C. - The National Transportation Safety Board will brief the media today at 2:00 pm PST about the MetroLink and Burlington Northern Santa Fe train collision in Placentia, California.

The briefing will be held at the Fullerton Marriott Hotel, 2701 East Nutwood Avenue, Fullerton, California. Chairman Blakey will address the media. Mike Flanigon is leading the investigation as Investigator-in-Charge (IIC).
