Temple University School of Medicine – Chairperson, Department of Otolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery

Temple University School of Medicine is seeking a Chairperson of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Candidates must be board certified and have outstanding academic experience, a record of scholarly productivity, effective interpersonal skills, demonstrable leadership abilities and the capacity to oversee clinical program and research development. The Chair reports directly to the dean of the School of Medicine and works closely with hospital administration for clinical responsibilities in the Temple University Health System.

The tripartite mission of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is to provide high quality clinical care, to train and educate residents and medical students, and to expand and contribute to the field of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery by fostering research and scholarly activity. The Department has an accredited residency program and a complement of five full-time faculty members.
