2008 OIC Industry Roundtable


The Department of Homeland Security is pleased to announce an Industry Roundtable hosted by the Science and Technology Directorate’s Office for Interoperability and Compatibility (OIC)


Partnering to create a system of systems framework and streamline communications in the emergency response community

What

The 2008 OIC Industry Roundtable will bring together industry professionals, emergency responders, and government officials to collaboratively address key technology challenges impeding interoperable communications within the emergency response community.

Over the course of the event, participants will attend three interactive plenary discussions that focus on technical aspects of interoperable communications within a system of systems framework from multiple stakeholder perspectives. Participants will address the necessary next steps to advance communications for emergency responders.

When and Where

The 2008 OIC Industry Roundtable will take place Monday, June 2, 2008, at the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. Updates will be posted regularly on the Roundtable Web site at
