CONGRESSMAN JOE DONNELLY HELPS TO SECURE $1,100,000 GRANT FOR TECHNOLOGY-SQUARED INITIATIVE

Visits LIFEPLEX Health Management Center to discuss importance of infrastructure development in Plymouth

Plymouth, IN -  Today at the LIFEPLEX Health Management Center in Plymouth, Congressman Joe Donnelly announced that the city of Plymouth will receive a $1,100,000 grant from the Economic Development Administration for the techFarm project, a technology park plan that encompasses the agricultural heritage of the area, life-science oriented businesses, and community development.

“It’s important to me that Plymouth has the means to develop the infrastructure that allows it to reach its full potential,” Donnelly said. “This grant will create a home for an emerging bio-life sciences industry and create good-paying, high-tech jobs for citizens living right here in Marshall County. I was pleased to lend my support to such an important project and I commend the city’s leadership and the team that brought this plan to fruition for their dedication, expertise, and vision.”

The techFarm project is part of the Plymouth-Marshall County Technology-Squared initiative. The grant money will allow the developers to begin engineering work on the project.
