Washington, D.C. - Today, Congressman Joe Donnelly released the following statement on the flooding currently affecting north central Indiana:
“I want to remind my constituents that my office stands ready to help anyone affected by the flooding. I will also continue to post important information for victims of the floods on the flooding resources page on my website at http://donnelly.house.gov.
In order to receive aid from the federal government, flood victims need to register for assistance within 60 days of the issuance of the disaster declaration, which was on January 31. New flooding, and any future flooding that occurs during the 60-day period, is covered by the existing disaster declaration. Those who wish to register for assistance will find instructions posted when they visit the link above.”
