CFC MEMORANDUM 2006-6

The CFC 1417 Campaign Results form will be available shortly for reporting 2005 CFC campaign results. Campaigns will be notified by email when the form is available and the closing date for submitting your campaign results to OPM. The following information and screen shots are issued in advance to assist campaigns in report planning.

The Campaign Results Totals Section has been revised in order to enhance the quality of campaign information. Please review this section carefully. Several questions have been rearranged to appear by question type. Questions on lines 1-5, 7, 9-11, 15, 16 and 19 have also been modified or are new for 2005 as noted below:

Line 1: Computes the grand totals of the information you provided in the national, international, local and undesignated screens.

Line 3: Report Budgeted Campaign Costs for 2005

Line 4: Report Actual Funds received as payout for 2004 pledges.

Line 5: Report the number of employees that were solicited.

Line 7: Provide the total number of contributors.

Lines 9-11: New questions for on-line pledging, if applicable.

Line 9: On-line pledge form refers to the availability of the pledge form on line for donors.

Line 10: Internet Pledging Methods refers to any product or tool that actually allows the donor to submit their pledge on-line. Note: Report only the number of agencies in your campaign that are using an internet pledging method.

Line 11: Amount raised through internet pledging, if known.

Line 15: Total number of charities. Should equal number of charities in your brochure which should be the same as the sum of lines 13 and 14.

Line 16: Number of national charities receiving designations

Line 19: Total amount given for hurricane disaster relief in your campaign, if known.

Campaigns are reminded to print a dated copy of their report, as proof of completion, before submitting results to OPM on the Summary Report page.

The 1417 Campaign Information System has also been updated to record PCFO EFT information in the EFT and Payroll Contact Information Section. Effective February 2006, campaigns must enter and update their EFT information in the 1417. Access to the EFT and payroll sections of the 1417 is available year-round at: http://apps.opm.gov/CFC/Campaign/Main.jsp. EFT and Payroll information is not available to the public and is only released to Federal payroll providers for the proper and timely disbursement of aggregated donor pledges. Changes made to a campaigns' EFT information will be communicated to Federal payroll offices in the monthly CFC update that is issued on the 1st of the following month. It is the responsibility of each PCFO to ensure that its EFT information is up-to-date.
