I am a woman currently benefiting from prescription strength bioidentical hormones and I was horrified to learn of Wyeth's fiscally motivated efforts to undermine the compounding pharmacy industry. After a horrible bout with pneumonia last year, my hormonal system was left in chaos. Thanks to a caring doctor and biodentical hormones, I again feel as I did before my illness.
Eliminating women's options by caving to the interests of a large pharmaceutical company like Wyeth is not in the public interest. This decision would deprive American women of a choice they have every right to make. Synthetic hormone replacement has been proven unequivocally unsafe in a government sponsored study and should not be forced as the sole treatment option for women. I hereby request the FDA rule against Wyeth's request and ask for more information on the safety of the Wyeth synthetic hormones. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
