STATEMENT FROM THE RCFL UNIT CHIEF ON ACCREDITATIONOn behalf of the RCFL National Program Office, I want to congratulate the North Texas RCFL for becoming the first federally affiliated digital evidence laboratory in the country to receive accreditation by the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors/Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLD/LAB). Moreover, the North Texas RCFL is the first of our facilities to receive this distinction, and we are very proud of Director Michael S. Morris, his staff, and the participating agencies of Richardson Police Department, Dallas Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Garland Police Department, Grand Prairie Police Department, Plano Police Department, Texas Internet Bureau, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office – Northern District of Texas for their achievements and leadership in this area.
