 I strongly urge to FDA to issue guidelines to pharmaceutical companies which reuire them to AVOID ALL USE OF FETAL TISSUE FROM ABORTED BABIES.  We should use non-objectionable cell lines in vaccine production so that ALL citizens can benefit from them without participating in an activity that is morally repugnant to them.  To respect the religious convictions of these citizens is NOT a hardship, since there is such an abundance of ethical sources for vaccine production.  In PROHIBITING THE USE OF STEM CELLL LINES FROM ABORTED BABIES the FDA will make it clear that here in the United States, where the right to life ("for us and our posterity...") is guaranteed in the Declaration of Independence, no person's life-- no matter how young-- will be forfeited for the sake of others.  The USA is not nazi Germany, where scientists "experimented" and "researched" at the cost of Jewish lives.  Please, oh please, let history judge us more kindly.
