I am 49 years old and was dx'd with premature ovarian failure at 38 yrs. old. I was dx'd w/ osteopenia a few years later. My menopausal symptoms were awful with severe night sweats, sleep problems, hot flashes and moodiness. I began using small doses of bio-identical hormones at age 40 with almost complete resolution of symptoms. I have also had improvement of the osteopenia. I am unable to use the typical meds for bone loss.
I believe it would be a horrible injustice to allow the drug companies to succeed in banning compounded bio-identical hormones. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
