 I was on HRT for 10 years when the Nurses study came out several years ago.  I went off it for over a year, trying to cope with OTC aids and herbs as best as I could.  My quality of life--and that of my family--suffered, so I searched for an alternative and was recommended by 2 OBGYNs to try Bio Identical estrogen.  I have been taking soy based estrogen, estradiol for over 2 years under my doctor's guidance and am very pleased.  I can vary the liquid dossage as I need and so am taking on average less than half of what I took with the pill form of HRT.  My husband is especially happy as he did not want me to return to the possible dangers of HRT.  Please do not allow large pharmaceutical companies to endanger this very important part of my life.
