GENERAL
I have been using compounded Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement cream for two (2) plus years. After being on high dose Premarin for over ten years and stopping the medication, I was experiencing severe hot flashes along with irritabilty, depression, and nightsweats to name a few symptoms. I opted to try compounded hormone creams. Shortly after beginning treatment my symptoms were greatly relieved. Before beginning the compounded treatment I submitted a saliva test and my treatment and progress is being monitored by a physician. It is my understanding that creams are not metabolized so much in the liver like that of oral medication. I feel it is important and necessary to offer women like me, the option to continue to use bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. It has done wonders for me and other women I know.
