I strongly object to the possible banning and/or more restrictive usage of bio identical hormones. My wife cannot take synthetic hormones and has been very responsive to bio identical hormone therapy. I believe the safety and efficacy of bio identical hormones has been well proven, and that Wyeth and other pharmeceutical companies are lobbying for restrictions not out of concern for the health and well being of the consumer, but out of a cold and heartless interest in profits. I think the record of pharmeceutical companies in regards to promoting their own interests over the welfare of the public has been even more well documented than the efficacy of bio identical hormones.
