 Compounding pharmacies play an important role for patients and health care professionals who do NOT want to be forced into the medical model developed during the last 100 years.  Compounding pharmacies PREDATE the medical model by a century or more, and represent another form of traditional medicine that should not be driven out of business by the FDA at the behest of large pharmaceutical companies seeking to protect their profits.  Please give Wyeth the wrist slap it deserves and send it back to develop medicines better than the natural bioequivalents available from compounding pharmacies - if it can.  And continue to make sure their new medicatiions don't have the deadly side effects of their past dangerous products.
