 After 8 years on the estrogen patch, I developed carcinoma in situ.  Suffering from terrible hot flashes and lack of sleep after discontinuing the estrogen patch (doctor's orders), I begged her to give me a prescription for natural hormones.  I am now on estriol/natural progesterone and so far feel great.  Please do not allow these natural, bio-identical hormone replacements to be removed by this large drug company which is only in this for money and trying to protect its bottom line.  It is NOT natural to put PREGNANT HORSES' URINE-DERIVED ESTROGEN into a human! We are not horses and our hormonal needs are not the same as those of a horse!  It has been reported that these synthetic hormones cause cancer!!!
