I am a male user or bio-identical hormones as well as natural medicines. There is no evidence that bio-identical hormones endanger the pubilc health as Wyeth charges. This is a flagrant, self-serving attempt by a drug company to introduce protectionism against effective treatment by compounds that directly compete with a synthetic, patentable (read "can make billions on), product that they make. Wyeth's hormones are not bio-identical, can be patented, and sold for rediculous profit which is the only motivating factor in this whole matter. Further, there is widespread evidence even in the mainstream media that their synthetic hormones do, in fact, pose a very real and proven danger to the public health. How is it possible for them to be this hypocritical? Natural alternatives are our right as Americans. If you begin regulating this, then all plant matter will have to be regulated as well as many have curative properties. This is frivolous, self-serving legislation that is wasting tax payer's money.
