 Taking away the power of the individual to make medical choices in this country is wrong!  Many of us choose to use alternatives knowing fully what we are taking and why!  We are not getting these medications from unreliable sources but rather from our Doctors and Pharmacists who also know there are treatments that are "better" for certain individuals.  As a Breast Cancer survivor and a Biology/chemistry major, I have spent many hours reading, and questioning treatment alternatives best for me.  Having been thrown into Menopause by Tamoxifen, I needed hormones to balance my body.  Synthetic hormones are not recommended for any one who has had breast cancer so this is not an alternative.  My quality of life has been changed by Natural Hormones.  I am monitered every three month by my Dr and Nutritionist, so this is not BLIND treatment!  Please understand the mental and physical changes one goes through following cancer diagnosis.... If something can help the side effects of that treatment and enhance the quality of life, I want the opportunity to make that choice!!!
