Please do NOT take away my right to choose bioidentical hormone replacement therapy drugs. The Wyeth Company has no proof that such drugs are dangerous, and the synthetic hormones that Wyeth produces are the drugs which should be taken off the market. The compounding pharmacists are perfectly capable of mixing the bioidentical hormones. I am a DES daughter. DES stands for diethylstilbestrol, a SYNTHETIC form of estrogen that was given to women back in the 50s to prevent miscarriage but which not only didn't work, also caused reproductive abnormalities in the daughters of the women who took the DES. My doctors have always told me that I should not take synthetic estrogen replacement therapy when I reach menopause because I am a DES daughter. I am taking bioidentical hormone replacement therapy instead. I like it, it works, I have NO side effects whatsoever. Please have the good sense to see through Wyeth's transparent motives and reject their petition. Thank you.
