 Women should have the autonomous right to treat themselves with over the counter treatments, such as bio-identical hormones.  I have heard from several women who have benefited from bio-identical hormone cream.  There is plenty of research to support the use of these and the benefits it provides.  I feel like a new person since I stopped taking my birth control medication and starting supplementing with a natural progesterone cream.  In my opinion, the risks of taking medications, such as birth control and HRT's far out weigh the risks of taking a bio-identical hormone replacement.
