GENERAL
I am absolutely enraged at Wyeth's proposed actions. I have been using compounded, bioidentical hormones for about 10 years and have never felt better. I am an unusual patient because I became panhypopituitary when I was 18 and I am now 57. That means I was menopausal at 18, and also lost all other endocrine hormones. I felt terrible when on Premarin and Provera. I had all kinds of side effects, including depression. I have a right to get compounded prescriptions that are biodentical to human hormones and hence work better in the human body. Pharmaceutical companies have far too much power and do not have the right to take away my freedom of choice. Their products are inferior to what compounded prescriptions offer to improve my health.
