To the Food and Drug Administration,
I am writing to comment on the 'Citizens Complaint' filed with your organization by Wyeth Pharmaceutical on October 16, 2005, requesting that the FDA effectively prohibit compounding pharmacies from providing bio-identical hormones to their patients. I urge the FDA to protect my rights as a consumer to choose the way I want to manage my health. I have had wonderful results from using bio- identical hormones prepared by the compounding pharmacy in my town. Bio-identical hormones are an effective and natural treatment. I do not wish to take artificially produced products when I have a more natural alternative that works for me and many other women I have contacted. Please don't play 'politics' with my health or my choice as a patient or a consumer. I urge you not to support Wyeth Pharmaceutical's claims. Thank you for considering my comments. Sincerely, Suzanne Trebon Kailua-Kona, HI 96740 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
