| The only reason this is an issue is because drug companies stand to lose billions of dollars if the public finds out that bioidentical hormones are superior to those they manufacture. It is outrageous for there to be a law to stop pharmacies from compounding bioidentical hormones. For most women, this is the only safe form of hormone replacement and it works far better than premarin with fewer side effects. This is truly about money alone. Don't allow the powerful drug companies to control women's health. They are about money but the women that use bioidentical hormones are seeking a safe alternative for their health choices. We do not have a dictatorship in this country. Most women who choose bioidentical hormones have tried the other choices with terrible side effects. Many of us pay for these products out of our own pocket because we believe that they are safer with fewer side effects. I have taken them for 3 years with no side effects whatso ever with many benefits. It is unfair and a restriction of my personal rights for this choice to be taken away. Don't allow this lobby to choose my destiny. Don't allow this monopoly of drugs to outlaw bioidentical hormones. They do not endanger anyones health except for the drug companies deep pockets. Please let the pharmacies do their job and keep the drug companies from controlling women's bodies. I do not believe that there is one study documenting the danger of bioidentical hormones. I would gladly participate in a study that would help other women as most of us using bioidentical hormones would. Once you achieve the balance necessary for good health, you would never want to go back to the pill with the side effects listed in the insert. Just because they have a huge operating, marketing and lobbying budget doesn't make them better. Give women the choice. Keep those lobbyists from controlling my life. They make enough money already.
