| They say following the money will lead you to the corruption in government. Wyeth's loss of income is an obvious road that has led to this flagrant attempt to usurp state regulatory agencies of their rights, as well as the rights of the millions of men and women the globe over that found the side-effects of Wyeth's products to outweight the benefits. By disallowing the role of custom compounding in filling a health & wellness need, the FDA would be opening itself up to untold numbers of lawsuits, not only by custom compounding organizations...but by the American consumers themselves. They have a right to choose between mass produced drugs that have been linked to increased cancer risks, as well as a list of side-effects that are often more horrific than the symptom that is being treated...and customized drugs for their personal needs. By disallowing custom compounding, the FDA would be, in essence, promoting the sickness and deaths that will arise from the consumers inability to stray from big Pharma's mass produced, costly, and synthetic approaches. It is a sad day, when the government that is meant to protect the people is turned into a weapon by back room deals, money, the corruption of Big Pharma.
