I am appalled to hear that Wyeth is trying to persuade the FDA to make bio-identical hormones illegal because they are a danger to public health. That is ridiculous and untrue. I am disgusted by the drug industry's constant assault on anything alternative to the poisons that they try to push on American citizens. There are helpful drugs, but for the most part, they are unneccesary and dangerous. Everything we need can be found in nature, and that is the secret that the multi-million dollar drug industry wants to keep quiet. I have personally been helped by bio-identical hormones, and I quietly suffered for 10 years while my gynecologist made me feel like I was crazy, and several other doctors prescribed cancer-causing drugs like Premarin. I now feel better than I ever could have imagined, and I feel that the drug industry and organizations like ACOG are to blame for my years of suffering. I hope the FDA will not give in to pressure from Wyeth or any other drug company. Wyeth does not care about people like me- -they care about money. The LOVE of money is the root of all evil.
