FCC Form 1275 This directory contains a self extracting zip file (SEZF) for the Microsoft Excel 4.0 version of FCC Form 1275 is called 1275E4.exe. This file contains several separate files which have combined together and compressed to make their distribution easier and more economical. Contained within the SEZF is: a spreadsheet version of Form 1275, a WordPerfect For Windows 5.1 copy of the instructions, and a text file version of the instructions. After downloading the SEZF to your computer's hard drive, copy it to an empty directory. Then, if you are using Windows, go to the Windows Program Manager, select "file" and "run", and type into the provided space the path and name of the SEZF. For example, if you have put the Excel 4.0 SEZF in a directory called "c:\1275", you would type "c:\1275\1275E4.exe". Next, press the "OK" button to run the program. If you are using DOS, at the command line, type the path and the name of the SEZF (for example, "c:\1275\1275E4.exe") and press enter. When the program is finished running, the "c:\1275" directory will have several files in it, the original SEZF and the files described in the preceding paragraph. You can now use your spreadsheet to access the computer version of FCC Form 1275. Make sure that you have reviewed the instructions for FCC Form 1275 and the instructions for the spreadsheet version of the form prior to completing the form. 1275E4.exe contains three files: file name description --------- ------------------------------ 1275.xls A spreadsheet version of FCC Form 1275 suitable for use with versions of Microsoft Excel for Windows 4.0 and higher. 1275inst.wp A WordPerfect for Windows 5.1 copy of the instructions for FCC Form 1275. 1275inst.txt A text file copy of the instructions for FCC Form 1275.
