Emergency Equipment Rental Agreements

If you are interested in signing up equipment to respond to wildland fires on the Sierra Cascade Province, you will need to sign a Emergency Equipment Rental Agreement (EERA). The first step is to fill out an Application for EERA, mail it in to the address enclosed and work with our Procurement Assistant or Contract Specialist to sign a EERA.

If you are interested in providing sack lunches to firefighters fighting wildland fires in the Sierra Cascade Province area, please fill out the enclosed BLANKET LUNCH AGREEMENT FOR FIRE SUPPRESSION, sign and mail a copy to Charlotte Carter at Lassen National Forest, 2550 Riverside Drive, Susanville, California 96130.

Federal Procurement Information

As of October 1, 2001, all federal procurements greater than $25,000, will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities web site This includes procurement notices, pre-solicitation notices, solicitations, amendments, and award notices. Vendors should monitor the Federal Business Opportunities web site or a regular basis for business opportunities. Vendors may download solicitations and attached documents. Hard copies of solicitations will no longer be available for distribution from the Sierra Cascade Province Acquisition Offices.

Procurements between $10,000 and $25,000 will be posted for public display at the Forest Supervisor's Offices. Sierra Cascade Province Office locations are identified below.

All planned procurements greater than $10,000 will be listed on the Advanced Acquisition Plan (AAP), which can be viewed on the Pacific Southwest Region (R5), Sierra Cascade Province Contracting web site.

The Forest Service no longer maintains general 'bidders list'. Small Business concerns should also provide information to the Procurement Marketing and Access Network (PRO-Net).

Federal Business Opportunities

FedBizOpps.gov is the single government point-of-entry (GPE) for Federal government procurement opportunities over $25,000. Government buyers are able to publicize their business opportunities by posting information directly to FedBizOpps via the Internet. Through one portal - FedBizOpps (FBO) - commercial vendors seeking Federal markets for their products and services can search, monitor and retrieve opportunities solicited by the entire Federal contracting community.
