Future Employment Negotiations and Recusals



On September 14, 2007 new House Rule 27 was enacted and affects Members, officers of the House, and "very senior" staff regarding negotiations for future employment and recusals from any matter in which a conflict of interest may occur.  Below is an advisory memorandum regarding this and also forms that are to be used by any individual covered by the new rule.
