Research Triangle Park, NC -  U.S. Rep. David Price (D-NC) today participated in a forum with foreign policy experts on ways to improve America’s standing in the world. 

Price shared his experiences serving as chairman of both the Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee and the House Democracy Assistance Commission to argue for a more effective policy that promotes stability and is consistent with our democratic values.  A copy his speech can be found here.

The forum, which was organized by the Research Triangle Institute, featured the findings of the Smart Power Commission – a national initiative led by the Center for Strategic and International Studies to revitalize America’s image and influence in the world by promoting greater awareness and understanding of the factors that influence our international relations and reputation.
