NMCAA is a non-profit Community Action Agency serving ten counties of northwest lower Michigan and operates the home Weatherization program, the Senior Nutrition and Meals on Wheels programs, the Head Start/Child Development program, and the Community Services program. nmcaa mail tc mail Locations (Maps) nmcaa webex Head Start/Child Development program provides several service delivery options designed to meet the changing needs of low income children 0-5 years old and their families.
Senior Nutrition and Meals on Wheels program is operated in 5 counties providing people 60 years of age or older, nutritional meals as well as a social environment.
Weatherization The goal of this program is to reduce energy costs of low income families.
Community Services program offers a variety of programs including Walk for Warmth to assist the needs of low income families, we offer affordable, energy-efficient, homes for sale, as well as home repairs for homeowners who qualify. The unique services of these programs are determined by community needs and carried out to help individuals and families toward improved self sufficiency.
