Beginning September 5th, the U.S. Forest Service will be selling surplus vehicles and equipment by public internet auction from four National Forests. Eighty items, including trucks, heavy equipment, and miscellaneous tools and items will be sold to the highest Internet bidder.

A list of the sale items can be obtained at the following General Service Administration (GSA) website; www.gsaauctions.gov. Items being sold from the Klamath, Mendocino, Shasta-Trinity and Six Rivers National Forests will be available for viewing on this site beginning 1 p.m. CST. No information will be available to the public until this date. Internet bidding may begin on September 5 through September12 until the posted deadline time.

On the GSA website, type in sale number 91FBPI07177 in the "Enter Search Text" box. Only the following four National Forest's items will be displayed. With each item of this search, there is a description, photo(s), and a contact name, if further inquiry is needed. Be sure to view the "Terms and Conditions" (in the blue tool bar at the top of the page), for all requirements regarding registering, bidding, payment, warranties, and removal of successfully bid items.
